Tennants Bitumen imports bitumen into a purpose-built facility located at Airport Road West, Belfast where, after further processing, finished products are supplied to customers, mainly for use in the road construction industry. Our comprehensive range of conventional and specialist binders with each product supported with professional and technical backup, including the company’s in-house laboratory and use of an extensive European support network specialising in research and development.
Our Products
Penetration Grade Bitumen
Tennants Bitumen supply a full range of Penetration Grade Bitumen, 40-60, 70-100, 100-150, and 160-220, for use in the Highway Construction and Maintenance Industry. Our Bitumen is CE marked in accordance with BS EN 12591: 2009 Bitumen & Bituminous Binders – Specification for Paving Grade Bitumens.
Polymer-Modified Binders
Tennants Bitumen supply a full range of Polymer Modified Bitumen for use in Highway Construction, manufactured in accordance with BS EN 14023 Bitumen and Bituminous Binders – Specification framework for Polymer Modified Binders.
Emulsions
Tennants Bitumen manufacture various grades of Bitumen Emulsion for use in the Highway Maintenance Industry. Our Bitumen Emulsions are CE marked and produced in accordance with BE EN 13808:2013, Bitumen and bituminous binders. Framework for specifying cationic bituminous emulsions.
